Squirrel
Scribe is a limited liability company (LLC) owned
and operated by Daryl S. Henderson, its managing
editor. Dr. Henderson holds undergraduate (Biology)
and graduate (Zoology) degrees from the University
of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada, and a
Ph.D. (Genetics) from the University of California,
Davis. Dr. Henderson did postdoctoral studies
at two of Britain’s foremost research institutes,
the University of Dundee and the University of
Cambridge. Since relocating to Long Island, New
York, a few years ago he has developed an interest
in the biology and behavior of squirrels.
Dr. Henderson has edited three
laboratory manuals in the Methods in Molecular
Biology series published by Humana Press, Totowa,
New Jersey. They are: DNA Repair Protocols:
Eukaryotic Systems (1999), Drosophila Cytogenetics
Protocols (2003), and DNA Repair Protocols:
Mammalian Systems (2005). Among his current
book projects is a primer on pharmacogenetics.
